Today I showed Mia and Laney a picture of Kate Middleton and explained that she was going to marry a REAL prince and become a REAL princess.
Laney was big eyed at the prospect of a REAL princess in REAL LIFE.
And Mia? Well, she threw herself on the couch and moaned "No...I was going to marry him!!"

(I'm sure she's not the only girl in the world who did this, but perhaps she is the only 6 year old in the world who had no clue who he was that did this. Wish I had a video of her reaction.)
Bless her heart. I think there were a lot of girls who thought the same thing. Can you only imagine what Kate is getting herself into...bad and good?
