One PM - a poem

One PM

Can I cut my sister’s hair?
I poopied in my underwear
And on your favorite wing backed chair!
Mommy can I have a snack?
I put some rice in my backpack
And also mixed it in my Gak.
There’s play-doh in my ponytail
Enough to fill a gallon pail!
Mommy can you clean it up?
I’m crying so hard I might throw up
And then you’ll have to clean that, too
While consoling my boo-hoos.
I have an ouchie on my knee.
I need a band-aid, maybe three.
Sticky gooey hands from lunch
Look! I’m squirting my fruit punch!
It’s squirting up just like a fountain!
Uh Oh Mommy, Now you’re countin’
All the way from 10 to 1,
Looks like playtime now is done.
A nap you say? No no no no!
You can't make me! I won't go!
Well maybe just a little rest
And then I’ll ….z.z..z..z.z.zz
