6PM Encore...

The Wait is Over!! (for Mia, anyway...)

Our House, 6PM

When we had cats, we used to refer to 8-9pm as Psycho-Kitty Time, because that was when the cats would jump up, run as fast as they could around, eyes wild, fur up, and have a blitz play session as if pumped up on caffeine.

Now that we no longer have cats, but have children, we have noticed a similar phenomenon that takes place right around 6pm. (Note that this will occur around 6ish regardless whether dinner was served at 5:15 or 6:30.)

Waiting for teeth

Carina is still waiting for her first tooth to erupt, chewing on anything she can get her hands on. And, Mia is waiting for her super-wiggly front tooth to fall out and to be visited by the tooth fairy for the very first time...tick tick tick...

My Shoes!!

Laney was sent upstairs Saturday afternoon in order to separate her from Mia and end a feud that had escalated into kicking and shrieking. From downstairs we could hear her yelling out the windows to our backyard neighbors, and since no one was outside, we just let her keep yelling.

Later, after egg-dyeing, I went to get something out of the car and saw one of my shoes hanging in a bush by the back steps. That's when I noticed two other shoes on the patio. I looked up to verify that the trajectory put them as coming from our upstairs bedroom window, and saw this:
